It’s the 25th anniversary of ORIGINAL Foundation, the game-changing makeup that really started the clean beauty revolution. We kicked off the celebration with stories of superfans from around the globe whose lives were changed by this 5-ingredient, skin-improving foundation. But what’s a big milestone without cake, cocktails and our Clean Beauty Ambassador, Hailey Bieber?
We recently threw our favorite product (well, one of them at least) a proper birthday party at HOFA Gallery in West Hollywood, and it was an evening worthy of a true icon. Hair guru Jen Atkin, Grand Slam tennis champion Naomi Osaka, singer Leona Lewis and comedian Arielle Vandenberg were just a few of the bareMinerals fans in the crowd, who enjoyed vegan snacks and an interactive Clean Mixology Bar. Installations on our clean newest arrivals — including new MINERALIST Lipstick — filled the gallery with color, plus details on our clean beauty innovations. Because we believe that good goes beyond makeup, we also made a donation on each guest’s behalf to Project Beauty Share, which collects personal hygiene and cosmetic products for women and families overcoming abuse, addition, homelessness and poverty to help restore hope and dignity in their lives.
The crowd of beauty influencers, from Desi Perkins to Chrisppy, editors and celebrities chatted and tested out products, and heard from our President, Jill Scalamandre. She spoke about the power of ORIGINAL Foundation’s clean formula, which totally transformed the beauty industry when it debuted in 1995 and continues to change lives with its skin-improving, confidence-boosting natural mineral formula. Hailey took the stage next, “I go way back with this brand and this company,” she shared, explaining that it was her first introduction to makeup, since her mom was a fan. She also spoke candidly about making good choices and the role of clean, cruelty-free products in her own life, as she juggles modeling, marriage and more. Hailey then blew out the candles as the group toasted the one and only ORIGINAL Foundation.
