You spoke, we listened. As a member of our community, you know that bareMinerals is about more than just clean, mineral makeup — we want to help you feel as good on the inside as you do on the outside. A huge part of that is fulfilling our mission to support women and girls through our fund.
Last year, we introduced you to The Power of Good Fund, and we’re happy to report that to date, we’ve raised over $1.3 million to support women’s education, mentorship and entrepreneurialism by donating a portion of sales. This is no small feat, and we couldn’t have done it without your support.
In 2021, however, we’re aiming to make an even greater impact. We asked our community to vote on the cause they care about most, and the response was clear: education. This year we will join forces with Room to Read and Girls Who Code, two education-focused non-profits that share our goal to educate, elevate and empower women and girls worldwide through literacy and gender equality in learning.

We want to empower women and girls around the world by making sure they have the educational resources, tools and support they need to reach their full potential — and we know that Room to Read and Girls Who Code are dedicated to these causes.”
To empower women through education, we will donate 1% of sales from our boutiques and bareMinerals.com to The Power of Good Fund by bareMinerals at Hopewell Fund.* In addition, bareMinerals employees throughout the U.S. will continue to devote 1% of their time each year to volunteering.

Girl Who Code
This non-profit organization works to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. With their 7-week Summer Immersion Program, afterschool clubs, and College Loops program, they are leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip young women with computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. Girls Who Code has reached 300,000 girls to date through its programs and 500 million people through campaigns, advocacy work, and a New York Times best-selling series. bareMinerals is proud to help change the narrative around who belongs in computer science and help young women achieve their full potential in this crucial field.
Room to Read
Founded in 2000 on the belief that World Change Starts with Educated Children®, Room to Read is creating a world free from illiteracy and gender inequality. They are achieving this goal by helping children in low-income communities develop literacy skills and a habit of reading, and by supporting girls to build skills to succeed in school and negotiate key life decisions. Room to Read collaborates with governments and other partner organizations to deliver positive outcomes for children at scale. They have benefitted more than 18 million children across 16 countries and 37,000 communities. With new support from bareMinerals, they aim to reach 40 million children by 2025.
