    Makes my skin feel rough and smell like seaweed

    I tried this when it first came out and it takes a long time to soak in, is really thin, and smells like seaweed. It leaves my skin feeling rough.

    Hydration Haven Gel Cream

    It really is gel-like, as the name implies. You will feel the gel on your face all day. The advantage is that it covers imperfections a little more than hydrating cream.

    If you have drier skin you don’t necessarily need a gel cream to remediate this. Make sure you want a gel and not just a hydrating cream, since Bare Minerals sells both.

    Great Hydration!

    I struggle with moisturizers that seem to just sit on top of my skin and make applying makeup tough. The gel works much better for me than the cream! It seems to be absorbed much faster, letting me put on a second layer before bed making sure I wake up without the tightness of dry skin.
