PRIME TIME® Eyeshadow Extender

I've been using a formulation of this product for years (so much easier now that it has its own wand.)

After application, eye shadow goes on smoothly and blends in the eye lid crease beautifully.

Lasts all day without touchup.

I made the mistake of putting tinted moisturizer on top and it became so flakey I had to remove both and start over. When I used it in its own, it accentuates lines on my lids that I didn’t know were there. I tried it a few times, with less product and with more, but the same issue kept happening.

I want to begin by saying I love that Bareminerals offers clean, quality products, and I definitely have my favorite go-to products. With that said, I found the eyeshadow primer to be sticky, which made blending and applying eyeshadow very difficult—even when using Bareminerals brushes. The product also feels slightly grainy or sandy. It didn’t prevent my eyeshadow from creasing when used for longer periods of time (over 6 hours), but was sufficient for shorter periods of time. For now I’m using my previous eyeshadow primer, which isn’t clean, but works well and helps eyeshadow to go on smoothly. I would love to try out a new and improved Bareminerals formula for the eyeshadow primer if that ever becomes available!
