I called around EVERYWHERE to see if I could find one. I even went to Gilroy Outlets that carries discontinued items. No go! So unhappy!

I am confused with this product. Is this the same as the mineral veil only it's in compact? Does this work like mineral Veil?

Is this the same as Mineral Veil?
    Asked by: Justme615
Yes, it the products are similar. I prefer the READY Touch Up Veil because it provides more of a "matte" look - a look that I absolutely love. It just looks more complete & perfect to me....the powder mineral veil leaves more of a shimmer, which is nice for those who like that look. This is my I hope I answered your question.

Is this product a substitute for regular loose mineral veil?

This would be easier to take in my travel bag than loose powder so I'm wondering if it is essentially the same product only in compact form.
    Asked by: Cande
I believe they created this for the convenience of carrying in your travel bag. It does serve the same purpose as the loose mineral veil, and offers a better variety of shades. I personally like the fact that the original loose has an SPF of 25, but I don't like the fact that it only comes in two shades, Transluscent and Tinted. Neither of those really match my skin, so I was happy to purchase the compact Ready Touch Up Veil in TAN, because it matches my golden complexion just perfect. Hope this was helpful!

I cant handle tones of any orange or yellow and just wondered if the light has any of that in or is more toward a cool base im hoping so hard for me to really know from the picture I wear fairly med in loose and med in the new foundation ready I just trying to know if should get reg or try the new light-thanks

I don't notice any yellow or orange tones with the light. the medium has more of a tint to it so that might. I purchased both the light and the medium to try out.

Where does the original "tinted" veil fall in the shades category? Light to dark.

    old tinted vs. new shades
    Asked by: Adrn
I would say that the old "Tinted" version is closer to the Medium shade. I purchased the Light shade and used to use the Tinted, and the LIght is lighter than the Tinted. I don't really like it. Light is close to Translucent.

is there any shade lighter than light?

it is advertised as 6 shades and there is only 5
    Asked by: Laur5750
Yes. Translucent. I used it for a few months but my face is oily and requires a lot of touch ups so by lunch time my face looks washed out so I switched to medium.
