WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

  • I prefer the coffee bean liner. Is it coming back? The other color options are out of stock except the black emerald. Are all of the powder eyeliners being discontinued?

    Asked by: Dusty
Hello Dusty, Our liner in shade Coffee Bean is unfortunately no longer available. We will be updating our site if the shades listed return to stock.

Can this be used on the waterline or for tight lining?

    Asked by: cjsinny
Hello cjsinny, We do not recommend using this in your water line. This would be suitable for eyelid, upper lash line, or lower lash lines.

What is the difference between using liner shadows and the regular eyeshadows as eye liners?

Besides colors, I was wondering if there was any difference between the two products when used as eyeliner (with water added). Obviously the colors are different, but with the regular eyeshadow products, you get 2X the amount for the same price as the liner shadows. Are the liner shadows longer lasting/less flaky? Or is there no true difference besides color and amount?

BIG difference between liners and shadows. The liners have a much higher ratio of pigment to carrier. Most of the shadows are not sufficiently dense in pigment to work as liners.

I'm looking for one that's a little lighter brown and doesn't have alot of shimmer or glimmer like the Bark liner I have?

Coffee Bean looks like it doesn't have glimmer in it but it looks very close to Bark color. I would like something a little more light brownish. Not sure if liners are finer in texture than shadows cause I could get a shadow to use as a liner I guess. Does anyone know?
    Asked by: onthetrack5
Tigers Eye is lighter than Bark, but has a lot of glimmer. Firefly is even lighter, but again, has a lot of glimmer. Coffee Bean does NOT have glimmer. I don't own Bark yet. As far as I can tell, the difference between the liners and the shadows is the ratio of pigment to carrier. If you put a touch of powder onto a brush, and wipe it across the back of your hand, and see a sheer color, then your powder does not have enough pigment to be used as a liner. I do use two "shadows" as liners.

How do I keep this eyeliner from transferring to my upper lid/outer corners?

I love that these eyeliners last forever. And I can make a really thin tight line and then wing it out in a really precise cat eye. However, I find that after a while, the color from the eyeliner is transferring to my upper lid and outer corner of my eye. I have been applying this with a wet brush and still, it transfers. Any ideas? Primer? Can I use Prime Time on my eyes, too? Would that help? Do tell.
    Asked by: erinshelly
You might try moisturizer at night, then primer, with powder on top. The eyeliners are more prone to transfer if they touch moist skin. By having powder as the top layer of your eyes, the surface will be dry. A good primer will retain the night's moisture.
