Tip: For oilier complexions or in humid climates, apply MINERAL VEIL® Finishing Powder BEFORE your favorite bareMinerals® foundation, then re-apply as a last step to set your makeup. Click, Lock, Go™ Sifter Instructions 1. FOR FIRST TIME USE: Remove the clear tab inside to toss away. (Sifter is now in open position.) 2. Dispense product inside lid and begin “Swirl, Tap, Buff®” application. 3. When finished, grab the outer ridges of the sifter and turn to the right until it clicks. (The click indicates the sifter is in closed position.)* 4. Close jar lid. 5.     I have an oily t zone and by mid day my face starts to look shiny. I was considering switching to the matte original foundation (currently using original). Would it be good to try this as well as the mineral veil? Or should I try the matte foundation?

    I went to a BM boutique and ask for the hydrating mineral veil sample.  The lady that helped me said that this product is drying. She confused me but didn’t say a word cause i said i would try it myself. So is this drying?

    The tinted MV seems a bit too “warm” for me, but the original is too pink and washes me out. What other MV would be best for me, hydrating or illuminate? I am 48, slightly dry skin. I use complexion rescue in Desert daily. Thanks!!

    How long does this mattify you're skin?

    I have VERY oily skin and I'm still in high school, so it's embarrassing to "casually" wipe the excess oil on your nose or forehead. (I get oily mainly in the "t-zone"). How long does this product mattify you're skin and what's the best way to use this so the mattification lasts longer?

    I have very oily skin as well and the translucent mineral veil really helps! It last around 6 hours before I have to touch up my t-zone area from being shiny. I would recommend using the oil control primer, mineral foundation in matte, and then the translucent mineral veil.

    Which is the right mineral veil for medium tan skin?

    I've tried the tinted and it left a dull layer on my skin. I then tried the illuminating mineral veil and really loved how it left a glow, but the glow is very light for my medium to tan complexion. Any advice? Should I try to mix the two together?

    Have you tried Mineral Veil? I use it as a last step because it seems to pull your face together and just kind of perfect it! Like airbrushing or filter effect for your complexion. I don't get that same result from Radiances. Those are more like a highlighter, give more of like a glow which I like but wouldn't call it a can't-live-without. MV definitely is!

    I have 2 Bare Essentual compacts. How can I refill them with Mineral Veil now that the product has that extra leak-proof inner lid?

    Original Hydrating Mineral Veil

    What happened to the very light weight, colorless, hydrating Mineral Veil?? It was awesome! Because it was so light weight and colorless, you could do quick touch ups all the time without worry of "piling it on".
