Our team suggests:

For best results, pair with the Seamless Buffing Brush with Antibacterial Charcoal. Specifically designed for use with bareMinerals BLEMISH RESCUE™ Foundation, it features bristles infused with activated charcoal to help repel bacteria. How to apply loose powder foundation: -Swirl a small amount of foundation powder in the cap until it disappears into the brush. -Lightly tap away excess powder. -Buff into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face and moving inward. For maximum acne coverage: -Prior to applying loose powder foundation, spot apply BAREPRO® 16-Hour Full Coverage Concealer to areas that need more coverage. -After applying concealer and foundation, use a flat brush, such as the Maximum Coverage Concealer brush, to concentrate additional foundation powder on problem areas. Your clear skin routine: For the best results, we recommend starting with clean bareMinerals® skincare designed for sensitive and acne prone skin. Cleanse with BLEMISH REMEDY® Gelée Cleanser and spot treat with BLEMISH REMEDY® Serum before applying an oil-free moisturizer like TRUE OASIS™ Replenishing Cream. Follow with bareMinerals BLEMISH RESCUE™ Primer and Skin-Clearing Loose Powder Foundation.

I currently use the matte foundation Thinking of switching to this in the summer. I use soft medium 11, what would be comparable? Also will this mop up more oil than the matte formula?

    Asked by: Elizabeth B
Hi Elizabeth B, We suggest trying this in shade Soft Medium 2CN. Both products are great for oily skin. Matte Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 contains 5 ingredients, has SPF15 coverage, blurs the look of pores and helps control excess oil. BLEMISH RESCUE Skin-Clearing Loose Powder Foundation provides full-coverage and contains salicylic acid, which is specifically helpful for those with acne prone skin.

Are the shades in this line the same as the regular original/matte line? I ordered the same shade in this line as the original formula and this shade is much darker! It's really frustrating when trying to match and it's not available in any stores near me

    Asked by: JenU
Hi JenU, Great question. The shades in both lines are not exact matches. When we were able to match shade names across lines we did but recommend identifying your shade in each particular line to find the best match for you. This is a great tool to help you do this: https://www.bareminerals.com/shade-finder/
