I currently use Bare Minerals Skinlongevity Power Infusion Serum

Along with the serum i apply a moisturizer with spf. Would i apply the serum first, then the prep gel THEN the moisturizer? Or should i not combine the serum with the prep gel?
    Asked by: CMLA
You want to use your serum, then moisturizer, give it time to dry down, then the prep gel. The prep gel can take the place of the moisturizer, but skin needs vary from person to person.

What is the difference between blemish rescue and the blemish remedy I have been using?

    Asked by: Pam_35
The Blemish Rescue Anti-Redness Matttifying Primer is a new and improved version of the primer you already love, with the added benefit of neutralizing the look of redness- providing an overall mattified, smooth, hydrated and clear looking complexion.

What is the difference between the foundation primer and this prep gel? Can they be used interchangeably?

Why would I want to buy the prep gel if I already have the foundation primer?
    Asked by: StephieU
Hello StephieU, Thank you for your question. The Foundation Primer and Blemish Remedy™ Mattifying Prep Gel can be used interchangeably and also together. While both prep and prime your face, they do serve different purposes. While both products can be used to create a smooth canvas for makeup application, our Blemish Remedy™ Mattifying Prep Gel promotes healthier skin and also absorbs oil. This product can be used on its own, or even on your T-zone areas while using the Foundation Primer on the rest of your face. We hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team directly for more information.

    Will this work for me?

I have oily and acne prone skin so, basically exactly what your product calls for! but, my only problem is, is that I've tried so many primers that are supposed to be mattifying but, only work up to maybe 3 hours. I just wanted to know how long the mattifying would hold up till and if it can stand humid environment conditions. Thank you for the help!!
    Asked by: Maddy
I have the same problem and this primer works beautifully for me. I live in Augusta Ga and we average 95% humidity all summer. I follow this primer with the Blemish Remedy foundation and it lasts all day with no shine. I have found that if I am outside for long periods of time my face will begin to shine (sweat) but I can take a Kleenex and lightly blot my face and the shine is gone and my makeup didn't run a bit.

Is it best to apply this over a moisturizer? Or should you not use a moisturizer at all if using this?

I find that if I put too many products on my face, it becomes even more oily.
    Asked by: Laulizabeth
I use a moisturizer before applying this primer but I make sure to let the moisturizer completely dry before applying.
