Additional Information

What it is:

To ensure that skincare products can absorb easily, it is important to first remove makeup and impurities from the skin at the end of the day. Formulated with mineral-rich sea salt, cucumber, micelles and rose water, our Mineral Cleansing Water gently cleanses, removing makeup and impurities to leave skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed — without stripping the skin or causing dryness or sensitivity. What are micelles? Micelles are tiny balls of cleanser that are suspended in water. They attract dirt and oil, drawing out impurities without drying the skin.

Why you’ll love it:

*Free of alcohol, oil, silicone, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, formaldehyde, synthetic dyes and fragrances. *Full of mineral-rich sea salts, rose water and cucumber extract. *Dermatologist-tested and ophthalmologist-tested. *Light rose fragrance (does not contain synthetic fragrance). *None of our products are tested on animals.

Our team suggests:

  • Can I remove waterproof mascara with this? The employee in my local Bare Minerals store said it could, but I'm skeptical. She said she uses it to remove her waterproof eyeliner.

    Asked by: letterwoman
HI letterwoman, Yes, our Mineral Cleansing Water dos remove waterproof eye makeup. In order to do that we suggest drench a cotton square and then gently holding it over your eyes allowing the formula to soak the skin before gently wiping away your makeup.

Hi is there a formula difference between the mineral cleansing wipes and the mineral cleansing water. Just trying to note have single use disposable cloths

    Asked by: Rosheen
Hi Rosheen, We love both of these products but here's the difference: - Mineral Cleansing Water is a no-rinse micellar cleansing water that gently removes makeup and impurities from the face, eyes and lips. - Mineral Cleansing Wipes are portable, oil-free facial cleansing towelettes that wipe away everyday face, eye, and lip makeup in one step, without irritation or the need for water. These will both cleanse your face in one step and we suggest choosing based on your preference!

I love bareMinerals! However, I already use a cleansing water that I purchase at the grocery store and it is quite a bit cheaper than this one. I was wondering if the bareMinerals works differently or better than the regular store brand?
