SkinLongevity Vital Power Eye Gel Cream is rated out of 5 by 7.Rated 5 out of 5 by Reee from Love it! -Puffiness I have allergies. Took care of that completely in almost a week. -Dark circles I have always had dark circles, even as a child. People point it out, saying I am far too young to have those circles. After 2 months of strict nightly use (and I still havnt run out!), The dark circles are almost completely GONE.Date published: 2018-06-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandra49 from What a difference! I really appreciate how wonderfully this eye area product cares for skin in the eye area. I have tried a sample of the Ageless Firming & Wrinkle Smoothing Cream - it was just way to heavy for me.Date published: 2018-06-01Rated 4 out of 5 by Lori R from I love this cream! As I read (just now) all of the negative reviews, I'm wondering why this is product working for me. Three weeks in and I'm pretty impressed. My dark circles are gone and I have prettier skin around my eyes now. I've finally found something that works for me. Not every product out there is going to work for everyone, but this time I didn't waste my money. Good luck out ladies...this isn't easy.Date published: 2018-05-22Rated 1 out of 5 by mandi303 from Flakes off This may be the worst product from the new skincare line. And that is saying something. I would give it zero stars if I could. While I found the Skinlongevity face serum completely ineffective, I held out hope that maybe this product might work. The very first night I used this, I woke up to little crumbly flakes around my eyes. I thought I was imagining it. I was noticing no benefits from the product and still experienced the flaking frequently, but still continued to use it. I rarely use makeup. One day when I used concealer, about 4 hours later I looked in the mirror and saw the flakes all over my face and bare patches from where the concealer disappeared from around my eyes. The Skinlongevity eye gel cream absorbed the concealer, but never absorbed into my skin. I then noticed my concealer had expired 2 weeks prior, so I chalked it up to my concealer being old, vowing to try again. After getting a new and different type of concealer (I went from the bareSkin to barePro concealer), the problem happened again. I was determined to find another cause for the flaking of my eye cream because I hate to give up on a product before it’s gone. I decided maybe I was using too much of the eye cream and the flaking of it was my own fault. I started using like a pinprick amount of the eye cream. So little that I was getting no hydration from the product- not that it supplied much to begin with anyway. Still, the flaking off continued. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I started sleeping in a black blindfold. Even washing my face like 4 hours before going to bed to give the eye cream time to absorb, the blindfold is positively crusted with the gel cream after one night. It’s thoroughly disgusting. No matter what I tried, I could never get this product to absorb into my face. It always just sat on my skin and eventually flaked off. So unfortunate. If you can find that your Bare Minerals boutique or Sephora has some of the Mineralixirs Eye Nourishing Oil Balm from the old skincare line, I highly recommend it. About the only use I got from this product is reusing the empty jar- which is not recyclable like their old skincare packaging. If you’re eco-conscious like I am, that’s disappointing. All of Bare Minerals' old skincare line used to be recyclable boxes and bottles. NONE of the new packaging is recyclable. Yet another way the company has gone downhill since its sale. Don’t waste your money on any of the Skinlongevity products.Date published: 2018-05-13Rated 1 out of 5 by Niccilynn33 from Not worth your time I have pretty dark circles under my eyes , along with puffiness. I’ve used this for a month now. Morning and night. I see absolutely no difference in the darkness under my eyes or the puffiness or the slight lines I have on the corners of my eyes. On the other hand it does moisturize the eye area very well. Makeup goes on great over it. But it just doesn’t help with any of my problems.Date published: 2018-03-25Rated 3 out of 5 by Aly03 from Skin Longevity I purchased this from Ulta about 2 weeks ago. It works great as a moisturizer, but other than that, I'm not entirely sure what it is supposed to do. I don't personally notice much difference in facial appearance when comparing using to not using the product. On a more positive note, it does leave your skin refreshed and the area around my eyes feels great. It absorbs into the skin easily, but I don't use a lot of product on my face either. Maybe it will help in the long run, but I don't see any obvious results right now. Therefore, I will rate it as ok.Date published: 2017-12-17Rated 3 out of 5 by Bacauste from Clumping I purchased this about a month ago after I really enjoyed the skin longevity serum included in this line. Unfortunately this eye cream doesn’t seem to do much besides form clumps. It happens every time no matter how much I rub it in or if my skin is moist or completely dry I’ve tried it every way possible. Alternately I purchased the ageless genius eye cream and I enjoyed it a lot more.Date published: 2017-09-21
I have under eye groove rather than darkness or puffiness. Which formula would be best to make the depression less? I have been using Brilliant Future and Elixer on face. Sounds like I should choose one or the other. Help this 67 yr decide which is rightHello Barbra, We recommend trying our new SkinLongevity Vital Power Eye Gel Cream and also our SKINLONGEVITY® VITAL POWER INFUSION.Date published: 2017-07-10
Hello! would this serum be okay for oily skin, or would you recommend something else?Hello betrue2u, Our Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion and also our eye cream would be suitable for your skin type as it replenishes moisture. Note that oily skin requires moisture to regulate oil production.Date published: 2017-06-08
What is the difference between using the Brilliant Future vs the skin longevity? I am soon to be 50 and want age defense and repair in skin products but i also have puffy under eye dark circles. Hello svanam, Both products deliver excellent results including age defense. If you are looking for a serum instead of an eye cream to target under eye dark circles, we recommend gently applying Skinlongevity for the best results. We also recommend comparing the benefits and ingredients in each serum to see the differences between both formulas.Date published: 2017-07-15
