Additional Information

What it is:

Combat acne, soothe your skin and reduce the appearance of imperfections all at the same time with our powerful Blemish Remedy® Acne Clearing Treatment Serum. A blend of salicylic acid, licorice root extract, and meadowsweet extract treats existing breakouts, calms skin to reduce redness, refines your complexion's texture, and reduces the look of pores. Plus, the addition of zinc helps prevent future breakouts by controlling excess oil.

Why you’ll love it:

Ideal for oily and combination skin. Zinc helps to control excess oil that may lead to acne. Salicylic acid helps to treat existing acne blemishes, prevent future breakouts, and promote skin's natural exfoliation process oil that may lead to acne flare ups. Licorice root extract has soothing properties to calm skin and reduce the appearance of redness. Meadowsweet extract encourages skin's natural defenses against blemish-causing bacteria, contains astringent properties to help refine skin's texture, and reduces the look of pores. Dermatologist tested. Non-comedogenic. None of our products are tested on animals.

Our team suggests:

Apply 3-4 drops to clean face and neck. Suggested usage: Use this serum morning and night along with our Blemish Remedy® Acne Treatment Gelee Cleanser for maximum acne-fighting effects. *If you experience drying or peeling, reduce usage to once a day or every other day, trading off with another bareMinerals® cleanser.

  • Is this the closest thing you have to Skin Rever Upper?

    Asked by: amgoodman79
Hi amgoodman 79, Our Skin Rev-er Upper was designed to be applied under your moisturizer, as a step to re-energize your complexion while continually smoothing out the skin's surface. We recommend our bareMinerals Blemish Rescue Anti-Redness Mattifying Primer as a good replacement.

How can this be considered clean with undisclosed fragrance ingredients? Do you use synthetic fragrance or if you're using natural fragrance why not disclose what those are? Why use any fragrance at all? It is damaging to skin

    Asked by: tracigoodone
Hi tracigoodone, Like our entire Skincare collection, this is synthetic fragrance free

I have combination skin that seems to break out easily, and I have acne hyperpigmentation. Right now I’m currently using Pure Plush cleanser, skin longevity serum, and the poreless oil free moisturizer. Should I use this product and how/when?

    Asked by: G222888
HI G222888, Sounds like you have mastered our skincare routine! We think this makes a great addition and suggest applying it prior to your Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion Serum. Continue the rest of your routine as usual.

Every morning and night I use clearisal cleaning pads, followed by a lemon and witch hazel toner, and a spot treatment if needed. When in my routine would this product be best to apply?

    Asked by: Allison92
Hi Allison92, We suggest using this and any serum as your first skincare step after properly cleansing. If you want to add this to your current routine, we suggest applying after you cleanse and tone but before you apply any spot treatment. We also suggest completing your routine with an oil-free moisturizer like our Smart Combination Smoothing Lightweight Emulsion to seal in all your products and properly hydrate the skin.

Can serums be used together? I use the Blemish Remedy serum and love it but I also want to use Ageless Genius to combat wrinkles/aging.  I’m a 50+ female with adult acne.  Can I safely use both together? Suggestions on use, which to apply first, etc?

    Asked by: Nativeofaz
Hello Nativeofaz, We do not recommend using both serums together. If you would like to use both, we recommend using either interchangeably and before your moisturizer. We also suggest consulting with a physician with our listed ingredients to make sure that they are right for your skin.
