Rated 3 out of 5 by from I’m not sure... I haven’t noticed any major effects on my skin, but that’s not to say the product isn’t working. I’m sure it’s having a positive effect. My real issue is with the packaging. As others have pointed out, the dropper doesn’t work well and so I end up hitting the open bottle on the palm of my hand. When I come near the end of use, it will be difficult to get the serum out so I can see where others have talked about the wastefulness.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just a Observation I have been noticing w/ A LOT of Bare Minerals products (by reading the reviews) that people say they love the old product better & thought the newer version of the same product does not work. Makes a person wonder if they are slacking on quality to cheapen the production cost but not lowering the consumer's price but yet on some products increasing the price so now we are getting less effective products for more money. This is making me want to find a new skin care line to use. I was with Mary Kay for years & found it wasn't working like before so I switched to Bare Minerals (about 3 yrs ago) & now seems I am running into the same problem I had w/ Mary Kay. Products are getting less effective. Anyone else agree?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like but not love Light cream that is nice, but my skin needs more hydration than what it offers. I really wish Bare Minerals would stop using this bottle and dropper. This is my 3rd product with this format. The dropper doesn’t work, and at the end you have a bunch of product on the bottom that you can’t get out. At this price point, they really should re-think this packaging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxurious serum This serum is so luxurious; it's a treat for the skin. Vitamin c and the other ingredients are so good for the skin. I saw my fine lines firm right up! My skin also looks brighter, and my husband asked me what I was doing different. He has started using it too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from love the packaging, just like the product this serum is beautiful - both the packaging and the actual serum; it feels nice on the skin and blends well but does absolutely nothing in terms of results. I have dry skin with some fine lines. I've noticed no changes since using this for over a month now. The ingredients are just so so. For the price, I'm going back to my other serum which boast a better formulation of skin communicating ingredients.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dropper bottle Dropper bottle a pain because as you get closer to the bottom it is impossible for the dropper to reach. Therefore, you are struggling to get the rest out, which is quite a bit. Will not buy again due to the packaging.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's all your great products?GONE?? Pure Nourishing Creme, skin rev-er upper, active cell renewal night serum; all your products are changing and unfortunately not improvement at all!!Considering after many years leaving this product unless you still provide them. These new products do not do as well I will guarantee you that.

  • Hello, I recently purchased the age defense and renew serum along with the eye cream. Am I able to use my everyday moisturizer beforehand?

    Asked by: Ceci26
Hello Ceci26, For the best results, we recommend using the Brilliant Future Age Defense & Renew Serum before your regular moisturizing routine.

Can brilliant future age defense & renew serum be used with a facial toner? If so, would you apply the toner first or after applying the serum?

    Asked by: Brittbaby86
Hello Brittbaby86, We do not recommend using the Brilliant Future Age Defense & Renew Serum as a toner. We recommend applying a toner first, followed by your serum and regular moisturizing routine for the best results.

I already have the skinlongevity but I want to try the brillant future (eye cream too). Wondering if this can be used in conjunction with the skinlongevity? If yes, how?

    Asked by: Sam0859
Hello Sam0859, We recommend using either serum at different times of the day if you would like to use both. For instance, Brilliant Future in the morning, and Skinlongevity at night. Both serums can be used before your regular moisturizer and also eye cream.

Why hasn't anyone answered the above question regarding the difference between the "Future Age Defense & Renew" and the "Eternalixir Skin-Volumizing Oil Serum? I would like to know the answer before I spend my hard-earned $$ on these products!

    Asked by: Rhon
Hello Rhon, Our Brilliant Future Age Defense & Renew Serum not only targets early signs of aging it also helps combat environmental stressers and renew skin's natural luminosity. While our Eternalixir Skin Volumizing Oil Serum targets anti aging while providing all day hydration. These two serums are very similar but have minor differences.

What is the primary difference between this and Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion?

    Asked by: KimTC
Hello KimTC, While both Skinlongevity and Brilliant Future improve skin tone, skin texture and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, these products contain different ingredients which contribute to their own benefits. For example, Skinlongevity contains Long Life Herb Extract which helps to promote skin's vitality, replenishing it with moisture and reawakening the look of youth. Brilliant Future includes Vitamin C which improves overall skin tone and vibrancy and also Chai Hu Extract which helps to lock in moisture.

How long does it take to see results, generally that is? I know that results can vary. Also, does the product leave the face feeling oily? I tend to break out if it does.

    Asked by: Narene89
Hello Narene89, Typically, we would suggest use for 3-4 weeks to start seeing results of this product. We would suggest consulting with a physician if you are concerned about the ingredients of this product. As an alternative, we also carry BLEMISH REMEDY® ACNE CLEARING TREATMENT SERUM.

How does the Brilliant Future Ade Defense compare with the Eternalixir?

Both products seem to help eliminate fine lines and wrinkles as well as restoring a more youthful appearance. I'm torn between which one to purchase. What are the major differences between the two? Are they targeted at different age-related needs?
