COMPLEXION RESCUE® 3-in-1 Eye Brightener Mineral SPF 30

(This review was collected as part of a promotion). I absolutely love this eye brightener! It instantly makes my under-eye area look brighter, smoother, and more awake without feeling heavy or cakey. The texture is lightweight, blends effortlessly, and gives just the right amount of coverage while still looking natural. I also love that it has SPF, so I'm getting a little extra sun protection in an area that's often overlooked. It wears beautifully throughout the day and doesn't settle into my fine lines. This has quickly become a staple in my daily makeup routine, and I'll definitely be repurchasing it!

I found this concealer to be an excellent shade match my skin (very fair neutral). The applicator brush tends to dispense a lot more product than needed but it's easy to blend out. It covers up undereye discoloration well and doesn't look ashy. The moisturizing formula works - I haven't had any issues with dryness under my eyes after use. The only downsides are that it does tend to settle into fine lines and isn't as long-wearing as other concealers I've used.

The instructions say to twist it more than once the first time, but I had to twist it a LOT for any product to come out! I would guess honestly maybe 30 times or so. But once it comes out, it just takes one twist each time you use it. It's not thick and it feels very light and nice. It does some light concealing while brightening, and I like that it has SPF as well. Love that it contains caffeine to make me look more awake as well :)

I also used the product on other areas of my face - to cover blemishes and sun spots and it did a great job there too. Even though the product has caffeine in it, I didn't get a headache like I've gotten from other beauty products with that ingredient. I didn't like how difficult it was for me to get the right amount of product on the applicator brush, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I think I prefer a 'pot' that i can dip my own brush into, so I have better control of the amount of product I use.
