To apply NEW BAREPRO 16HR Skin-Perfecting Powder Foundation: This formula can be applied with a dry or damp brush. A dry application is ideal for balanced, combination or oily skin — or for anyone on the go. A damp application is ideal for dry skin, to get the creamiest application. *Press the brush onto the powder. *Sweep the product across your face, starting where you want the most coverage and blending outward in long strokes. How to Wet the Brush *Dip the brush head into cool water (avoid soaking the barrel of the brush). *Squeeze out any excess water in a towel so the brush is damp, not soaked. To apply BAREPRO 24HR Performance Wear Liquid Foundation: *Pump foundation onto the back of your hand. Start with one pump for medium coverage and build to full coverage with a second pump if desired. *Pick up the foundation with your brush. *Starting in the center of your face and working outward, blend onto skin using short downward strokes. *Blend well into the jawline and hairline to ensure an even appearance that looks like skin, not makeup.

  • How and how often do I clean my luxe performance brush?  It is very difficult to get the makeup washed out and it’s starting to smell!

    I have this exact brush, I pump the liquid foundation onto the back of my hand, never directly on the brush. Although there are make up brush cleaners, I actually use Dawn dishs hoap which makes the brush clean, gets rid of the greasy slimy feel others have reported. My brush stays clean and I do this once a week. Hope this helps.

    Is this brush good for the powder foundation? If not what is the best brush?

    I went to clean the first time using the bareminerals brush shampoo and am having troubles. the make up seems to clump and is difficult to remove from the inner bristles. Any recommendations on how to clean it better?

    Hello KCAllie, We recommend gently lathering your brush under warm water and using circular motions to allow makeup to fully clean off brush bristles while cleansing. We also recommend allowing your brush to dry bristle side down for the best results.

    How are you supposed to clean this brush? After minimal use, mine is clogged with old product and it doesn't wash out with the brush cleaner.

    Hello MNLinda, We recommend gently washing your brush with baby shampoo or our brush cleaner with warm water in small motions on a cloth or your hand. It is also recommend to dry your brush with the bristle side down for the best results and washing a second time if you still experience makeup build-up.
