BARESKIN® Daily Dewy Sunscreen Mineral SPF 30

I’ve been a Bare Minerals fan since I was a teenager (their foundation was the only thing that didn’t make my acne prone skin, oily teenage skin breakout and that in itself was a huge accomplishment), and have used many of their products, as a result, I have come to expect nothing but the best from this brand. I can honestly tell you that this sunscreen is a testament to that!

I’ll start by saying that I have rosacea and acne prone and eczema prone skin. Because of my rosacea and the topicals, I use for it, I have to be extremely careful about what goes on my skin. I have used this product for a few weeks now, and it has been nothing but extraordinary. For the longest time, I had trouble finding sunscreen that would meet my skin’s needs. Almost everything I tried broke me out, caused a skin reaction or severely irritated my skin (both high end and drugstore products). I was beginning to get to the end of my rope when BM released this sunscreen. Talk about great timing!

At first, given the multiple skin issues I had I was hesitant to try it, but reading about the skin benefits and my positive experience with other BM products, I decided to give it a shot – and I’m so glad I did!

I purchased this sunblock as a substitute for my regular facial sunscreen which was out of stock. The fluid texture is great, as is the finish on the face, not sticky but dewy. Too many sunblocks have an unflattering matte finish that just sucks the life out of your skin. My problem with this sunblock is the scent. It is strong & chemical, & since it’s so close to the face, quite unpleasant. I am bearing with it until my regular brand comes back in stock.
