Eyeliner for Your Eye Color

June 26, 2024

Most people think of black eyeliner but choosing your eyeliner shade based on your eye color can really make your eyes pop. Look at what color eyeliner complements your specific eye shade and try something besides for a classic black eyeliner.

Eyeliner For Brown Eyes:

If you have brown eyes, try using a bronze or gold eyeliner to bring out the warm tones in your brown eyes. Additionally, plum eyeliner can also complement brown eyes, adding depth and intensity to your look.

Eyeliner For Blue Eyes:

If you have blue eyes try opting for a brown eyeliner. The softness of a brown shade can help define the eyes without overpowering their natural color. This combination is much more subtle and softer than a black eyeliner.

Eyeliner For Green Eyes:

If you have green eyes, try a grey eyeliner. The softer tone of grey can enhance the green hues in your eyes, and be super flattering. Alternatively, since red is directly across from green on the color wheel, try a burgundy eyeliner to complement green eyes.

Eyeliner For Grey Eyes:

Grey eyes can pop with a blue eyeliner. The contrast between the blue shade and the grey eyes can create a striking and captivating look. Experimenting with different shades of blue can help you find the perfect eyeliner to make your grey eyes stand out.

Experiment with Multiple Shades:

Don't feel obligated to only use one shade- mi and match. Try a Cat eye using Mineralist Lasting Eyeliner in Garnet and add shade Diamond on the lower lash line. Get creative with colors, a cat eye does not need to be with black eyeliner only.

Remember, the key to finding the perfect eyeliner shade is to experiment and have fun with different colors. By choosing the right eyeliner shade for your eye color, you can enhance your natural beauty and create stunning eye makeup looks that highlight your unique features.
